Wat een plek, wat een rust, wat een groen. We hebben zeker meer dan 200m2 en ook nog een eigen picknicktafel. We gaan hier zeker nog een keer terugkomen. Quiet and extremely welcoming this site offers everything you need for a great holiday and relaxing atmosphere. We will be back time and time again. We (a family of 4) stayed in our campervan on a lovely well maintained flat pitch, with an area of gravel to park and sunny grass to sit out on. Each pitch is surrounded by high hedges so wonderfully private and great if you bring a dog. The showers and toilets (with separate sink cubicles) are up near the spa and chateau and are wonderfully clean and well equipped. The individual showers have a shelf to put your things on and a towel rail, and are lovely and warm. There is a fabulous teenage hideout in the tower with table football, games console and comfy seating and tv and bean bags upstairs. The main chateau has a warm comfy seating area with a tv, loads of board games, a pool table and lovely rustic decor. It is here that you can collect tennis and badminton rackets or crazy golf clubs or ping pong paddles to play whenever you want. The shop which has ice creams, biscuits, wine, jams and preserves serves fresh bread and pastries each morning (you order the day before). We enjoyed fresh pastries with lovely hot chocolate and coffees on the terrace outside, which the night before, was also the scene of one of the best karaoke experiences we have ever shared - particularly with the outstanding Sophie who along with the other locals, made the evening so enjoyable. Fabienne and Eric have created a truly wonderful retreat and a special mention should be made to their home made pizza which was exceptional and their super friendly dog who is almost as beautiful as the chateau and gardens. I haven't even mentioned the swim up jet pool, jacuzzi and sauna, spa area - we didn't have time to try these out this time, but we will do so when we return - this was such a relaxing experience for the family and definitely one we will repeat.
